Aladdin is a traditional English family pantomime. The classic tale features Aladdin, Widow Twanky, the Genie of the lamp and many more. It's traditional for a young actress to take the part of the hero (the 'principal boy'), and a male actor to portray an old woman ('the dame'). This 2003 Aladdin script has been written exclusively for GEMS by Robert Marsden.
