For Radioactive there are two pieces which are connected. The first piece Mug is a photographic patterning of greasy fingerprints on a white canteen mug. I want to create beauty from the stain of industrialisation.
The second piece
Antidote (a collaboration with Christopher Poole) is a light sculpture using the cleaning product Swarfega. I want this piece to be visceral and sensuous. Housed in a dark office it will have a throbbing emerald glow. I have focused on the small moments of the working day, the tea break and the hand washing ritual that removes the tarnish of work before home time.
