  SCULPTORS ::   Philip Eglin - sculptor and ceramicist who lives in Newcastle-under-Lyme and teaches part-time in Stoke. He won the prestigious Jerwood Prize for Ceramics as the most promising young ceramic sculptor in Britain, and recently had a solo show at the Victoria & Albert Museum. ::  Angela Munslow - sculptor and painter. Angela studied figurative sculpture at the Stoke-based Sir Henry Doulton School of Sculpture (which later was reborn as the Frink). ::  Ian Knapper - fine hand-carved classic stone fireplaces. Based in Cheadle, near Stoke. ::  Echomap - the sound artist duo of Shaun Bailey and Clive Mollart. Shaun & Clive created the interactive 'Sound Wall' at the Royal Horticultural Society's 2010 Tatton show, and this sculptural structure was later re-built at Stoke's Trentham Gardens where it still runs today. The duo are currently making new experimental interactive sound sculptures.::  This is Love - innovative Christian typographic sculptures made in Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent.
                ::  Ondre Nowakowski - makes large public art in metal. ::  Freeform Studios - computer modelling services for sculptors.  Church Wall Gargoyles - based in Cheadle. Creator of the statues at the Alton Towers Hotel and stone carvings in Ugland & Alice in Wonderland at Alton Towers. Church Wall also run classes at The Potters Barn.
      COURSES ::  The National Stone Centre is based in the nearby Peak District, at Middleton by Wirksworth. At 2012 they run stone-cutting sculpture courses in: Letter Cutting; Stone Carving and Sculpting; and Stone Masonry.::  At Summer 2012, South Staffordshire College has a 'Life Sculpture' evening course listed (QLDXCELIFESC) at the Lichfield campus.
